PWS / STEEL CUTTING / SAINT LUCIA

Your steel. Cut around your next job.

Send your lengths, quantities and end angles. Get a clear quotation for material preparation before you commit to the work.

Cut-to-length preparation

Request straight cuts or mitres for hollow sections, bars, angles, channels, pipe and rebar. State the material grade and section dimensions so we can confirm the right method.

One piece or a batch

Provide the finished quantity for each length. Repeat parts, different lengths and changes of angle are reviewed as a complete cutting job.

Your material or sourced material

Tell us whether you will supply the stock or need a separate material quotation. Supply and processing are itemised according to the agreed scope.

What determines your cutting price?

Your quotation accounts for setup, handling, measuring, cutting and unloading. Section size, wall thickness, material, end angles and the number of different lengths affect the work required.

Batch efficiencies and any quantity discounts are considered in the quotation. Material, collection, delivery, deburring and additional processing are included only where stated.

Cutting enquiries are open. PWS confirms equipment availability, accepted material, cutting capacity, tolerances and the turnaround before accepting the job. There is no automatic price or confirmed appointment at this enquiry stage.

REQUEST A CUTTING QUOTE

Send the details. We’ll confirm the scope.

Use one profile and material per request, or attach a mixed cut list and explain it in the notes. All lengths use the units you select.

This unit applies to section dimensions, thickness, stock lengths, finished lengths and kerf/trim allowance. Changing units converts entered numeric dimensions. Angles stay in degrees and quantities stay as counts. Drawings and notes must show their own units.

Material available for this cut list

Enter the number of full bars or lengths and the length of each one, using the measurement unit selected above. Add another stock group if some bars have a different length.

If left blank, the check excludes saw kerf and trimming. PWS confirms cutting losses, end preparation and any mitre nesting before accepting the job. Stock quantities are required for customer-supplied material, or upload the complete stock list. For PWS-supplied material, leave stock groups blank if you need us to establish the required supply.

Finished-piece cut list

Enter each end angle directly or use the number-field up/down controls. Quick buttons set 90° or 45°. 90° means square. Angles are measured between the end cut and the lengthwise edge in your drawing, not the saw scale. Use one consistent view: End A on the left, End B on the right, looking at the same marked face. Choose / or \ independently for each end. The direction describes the cut slope; the angle specifies its value. For cuts on different faces, compound angles or complex pieces, select “Complex / see drawing” and upload a dimensioned drawing identifying A, B, the viewing face and length reference. If you upload a complete cut list, you can leave the quantity and length row blank.

Choose how the finished length is measured

Images follow your End A / End B directions in the same marked-face view. The directions set the outline; choose the dimension that matches your drawing. Square ends use the overall length. Schematics are not to scale.

If one end is cut across the side face and the other across the top face, upload a drawing showing the section faces, End A, End B and any rotation.

Stock planning check

Enter the available stock and finished pieces to check the material requirement.

Upload your cut list, dimensioned drawings, sketches or photos. Excel (.xlsx or .xls), CSV and PDF cut lists are accepted, as well as JPG, PNG and WebP images. Include stock quantities/lengths and finished part quantities, dimensions and angles. Up to 3 files, 5 MB each. Attachments are emailed to PWS and are not published on the website.

Preparing secure form…

From cut list to collection

  1. Send the request. Include material, profile, quantities, finished lengths and end angles.
  2. Confirm the job. PWS checks the requirements and confirms the cutting scope, availability, price and arrangements.
  3. Pay the approved quotation. Use the payment link PWS issues for your order.
  4. Arrange material and collection. Bring or supply material only after PWS confirms the arrangements.
How are bundled cuts counted?

State the quantity of finished pieces. PWS assesses the handling and machine cycles required for the batch and confirms the total charge. One machine pass through a bundle is not the same as one piece processed.

Can I buy material and have it cut?

Choose “PWS to quote material sourcing”. Availability, material price and processing are confirmed in your quotation.

Are CNC cutting, drilling or bending included?

This request is for cut-to-length preparation. CNC shapes, drilling, punching, bending and rolling are separate services and need their own confirmed scope.
