Site Assessment Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before purchasing a site assessment. They explain the service scope, payment requirements, scheduling arrangements, and your responsibilities.

1. Service Overview

The site assessment is a paid professional service used to review project requirements before quotation, procurement, fabrication, or installation.

The standard assessment includes:

  • Site measurements and dimension recording.
  • Review of visible site conditions.
  • Installation feasibility review.
  • Preliminary recommendations on suitable systems.

2. Purpose of the Assessment

The assessment supports accurate sizing, appropriate system selection, installation planning, and preparation of a reliable project quotation.

A quotation will not be issued without an assessment unless Progressive Welding Solutions Ltd. approves an exception in writing.

3. Assessment Fees & Payment

  • Assessment fees depend on the selected location zone.
  • Payment is required before an appointment is scheduled.
  • Assessment fees are non-refundable.
  • The fee may be credited toward your project if approved by PWS.

A project credit is not automatic. Confirm eligibility with PWS before relying on the assessment fee being deducted from your project price.

4. Selecting the Correct Location Zone

Clients are responsible for selecting the correct zone. Zones follow the property’s location from north to south of Saint Lucia.

If an incorrect zone is selected:

  • The appointment may need to be rescheduled.
  • Any applicable fee difference must be paid before the visit.

If you are unsure, send your community name or location pin to PWS for confirmation before booking.

5. Scheduling & Site Access

Appointments are arranged after payment confirmation and are subject to availability. PWS may reschedule a visit when necessary.

Clients must:

  • Provide safe access to the assessment area.
  • Ensure the site is ready for measurement.
  • Provide relevant project information.

Payment does not reserve a specific appointment time. Your visit date and time must be confirmed separately by PWS.

6. Scope Limitations

The standard assessment does not include:

  • Structural engineering certification.
  • Load calculations.
  • Final design drawings, unless separately contracted.

Findings are based on conditions visible at the time of the visit.

7. Changes After the Assessment

Changes made after the visit may affect the design, material quantities, project price, or installation requirements.

A further assessment or revision fee may be required.

8. Quotation Validity

Project quotations are valid for 30 days and remain subject to changes in material costs, project design, and site conditions.

9. Travel & Additional Site Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

  • Difficult site access.
  • Changes in travel conditions.
  • Excessive waiting time.

Tell PWS about relevant access or travel difficulties before the visit is arranged.

10. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your visit. Late cancellation results in loss of the assessment payment.

Assessment fees are non-refundable. Contact PWS directly about any request to reschedule.

11. Assessment Limitations & Liability

PWS is not liable for hidden or undisclosed site conditions, structural issues that were not visible during the assessment, or changes made after the visit.

12. Acceptance of These Terms

By booking a site assessment, you agree to these terms, including the payment conditions, service scope, and limitations.
