CNC Plasma Cutting Settings App

Version 2.0.0 · October 2026

Find a documented cutting reference, or enter your machine’s proven chart settings. See amperage, travel speed, cutting height, pierce height, delay and arc voltage in one clear setup sheet.

1. Material and thickness

2. Start method

My chart values — optional

Select “My machine” to use these values. Enter what you know; blank fields are shown as “Not supplied”. No reference values are silently mixed into your chart.

Test-cut calibration — optional

Your cutting parameters

Select a reference or enter your chart, then calculate.

Prepare, test and refine

  1. Fit the correct torch consumables and connect the work lead.
  2. Confirm clean, dry gas and the required supply pressure while gas is flowing.
  3. Verify initial height sensing, pierce height and physical cut height.
  4. Test on matching scrap; inspect dross, bevel, kerf and hole quality.
  5. Record the proven settings. Recheck THC voltage after speed or consumable changes.

Aluminum on a water table can create a hydrogen hazard. Follow the manufacturer’s prevention procedure. Provide appropriate fume extraction, especially for stainless or coated material.

Turn clean cuts into properly priced jobs
